Phenocryst
A phenocryst is an early forming, relatively large and usually conspicuous crystal distinctly larger than the grains of the rock groundmass of an igneous rock.
Phenocryst is a pair of server (Aphanite) and client (Phanerite), aiming to provide an one-click-to-launch experience for private modded Minecraft servers.
In detail, it consists of
- Aphanite: A self-deployable Yggdrasil server, with extra features explicitly designed for private servers.
- Phanerite: A preconfigure-able Minecraft launcher, which connects to and is managed by an Aphanite server.
A well-configured Phenocryst system, in pairs, should make server owners able to manage players' game instances in a cluster-ish and convenient way.
On the other hand, players are also able to install and launch the game, and join the server in one click with a preconfigured Phanerite launcher.
