# Feniota Minecraft Docs

This is the document site of the Phenocryst project, Feniota's Minecraft launching and profile OTA
software set.

Phenocryst consists of:

* **[Aphanite](/aphanite/)**: A self-deployable [Yggdrasil](https://minecraft.wiki/w/Yggdrasil)
  server, with extra features explicitly designed for private servers.
* **[Phanerite](/phanerite/)**: A preconfigure-able Minecraft launcher, which connects to and is
  managed by an Aphanite server.
* **[Granodiorite](/granodiorite/)**: A Minecraft resource mirror that caches game assets in
  Cloudflare R2 for faster downloads, primarily serving Phanerite users.

A well-configured Phenocryst system should make server owners able to manage players' game instances
in a cluster-ish and convenient way.

On the other hand, players are also able to install and launch the game, and join the server in one
click with a preconfigured Phanerite launcher.

Please note that this project is still in development stage, bugs are expected.
